Leeds fans give thoughts on the club’s best performers against Bristol City
Leeds United fans on Twitter have been naming the player they were most impressed with after their opening game of the season against Bristol City.
Pablo Hernandez was named as the Man of the Match, but the club’s official Twitter account asked fans which player they were most impressed with.
Unsurprisingly, there were a few names to choose from.
Leeds were utterly dominant in their 3-1 win. They had over 59 per cent of the possession, and they had more shots than the Robins.
A number of players got mentioned in the responses, but three players were more prominent than any others.
The first of these was the debuting Ben White. The 21-year-old centre-back looked confident and composed in his first appearance as he had an 84.6 pass success rate.
Fans were overjoyed by the fact their new defender looked so at home in their backline.
Big Ben White ! Nothing fazed him .I had visions before the match he would be a bag of nerves ! I was totally wrong . #MrCool #alaw

Another player who received a lot of praise was Patrick Bamford. The striker netted his first goal of the season, and fans were seemingly impressed by what they saw from him.https://twitter.com/geri829/status/1158076631816331264

Finally, some United supporters were waxing lyrical about Jack Harrison. The winger returned on loan from Manchester City for a second season at Elland Road, and it didn’t take him long to get his name on the scoresheet.
Harrison… Could of stopped a bowling ball with his little toe first touch today…

I thought Harrison had a cracking game.
