Leeds United fans have once again been discussing the attitudes towards Patrick Bamford as he continued his good form by scoring two goals against Wigan on Saturday.
This means that the striker has netted three goals in his first three appearances in the league this season.
Last term many were critical of the former Boro man as he netted just nine goals for the Whites.
He netted those strikes in just 23 appearances though so his goalscoring record was actually quite decent in terms of goals to game ratio.
Fans have often complained about the attacker during his first 12 months at the club, but there are a few supporters that seemingly can’t understand why the 25-year-old has been the subject of so much criticism.
My maths may be wrong but isn’t that 15 goals in 28 games for Bamford now? How can anyone give him grief for that when half of those came while recovering from injury? Better ratio than Becchio and he’s lauded. #lufc Maybe it’s because he doesn’t play to the crowd.

Other sections of the fanbase stated how happy they were with his scoring record. One even compared him to Cristiano Ronaldo, while another said that his return was up there with the best players.
A fantastic return up with the best

Better ratio than Ronaldo at united, Bamford, 1 every other game, Ronaldo, 1 every 3rd game. 292 apps 118 goals.

A couple of supporters expressed that they understand why some people are frustrated by Bamford as they explain that his chance conversion rate isn’t up to scratch.
Probably because for every goal he's scored he's also missed 1/2 sitters. Not saying he should get the grief he does but, if you're being objective, you can see why folk get frustrated with him. Also, Becchio scored with fewer chances, in some big matches and cost about €100.

I think the fact he could of had 105 goals is more the fans gripe , why don’t you put a statistic up of conversion rate
